What Are We Really Saying?

What was your conversation with God about today? When you spent your time alone with him, how did you spend your time?
Did you spend time worrying about what the day would bring? Did you spend time praying for what was yet to come?
Did your mind wander off to far off places, away from the place He met you? Were you unable to focus on him and his words to you?
Do you find it difficult to keep your mind on Christ for more than a few minutes or are you able to tarry a while with Him?
When our minds are filled with hopeless wonder, I would imagine that you are wandering off to never Neverland, a place where nothing ever happens. A place where your mind tells you that nothing will work out and failure is imminent. This place is filled with nothing close to the peace that God has for you. Where worry lies, also lies a place of weariness and dreadfulness. The great thing about God and his word is that he will never fail you and his word is always true. You can have confidence that all will work out just as he said it would, even if things change along the way.

We can start out walking with him on our path, eventually seeing and understanding the plan he has for us then suddenly he throws in a detour, a new shift. This is not a sign that he has left us or that we will never get to the place he promised. There could be a number of reasons why there was a shift. He may have just shifted you from a place of danger. He may have just shifted you towards provisions that are needed for this leg of your journey. He may have even shifted you to propel you forward closer to what he promised you. Whatever reason he caused the shift, it is up to us to trust him. We must continue to trust him and his word. This is not the time to hold our head down and worry or allowing our minds to begin wandering. This is, in fact, the perfect opportunity to hold your head up and see him working in your life; eyes, ears and heart open, remaining prepared to receive.

As you embark upon this new day, how will you spend your time with God? Rather than spending the time worrying and wandering, try using it wisely. Spend time in gratitude. Be grateful for He is God, the great I AM. He is Adonai, Our Lord. Lord of every and all things. He is peace therefore we have peace through all things. He is the God that gives us understanding even to understand that we may not comprehend it all,and with that also comes peace. Trust the works of YHWH, the God that transcends all through time. He has and will never change, therefore we can count on him to always be true.

No matter where he leads us, you can trust that we will end up exactly where he needs and wants for us to be. Whether he slows or speeds up time for us, it is all for our good. He will give us what we need when we need it and how we need it. Trust the process along this journey, praising and trusting him for he is God. He will never forsake us, he will never leave us, and has us in his hand, forever and ever. AMEN

What are you really saying through these actions?
You’re saying, I BELIEVE and I shall not fear, I shall trust in the Lord with all my heart and soul.
