What I do, I do in His name, for His Glory for His Honor for His Praises.
I care not for the praises and honor of man for there is no greater reward than knowing that what I have done and continue to do pleases my Father.
There is nothing this world can give me that is greater than what my Father has already given me…His Love.
It is because of His love that I have life. It is because of His love that I have Joy and it is because of His love that I have peace. What He has given me, no one or nothing can take it away. If my Joy and Peace depart from me, it is because I have chosen to give it away. It would mean that I have chosen to depart from His presence where I am safe and can rest, moving to a place where chaos and distress will be allowed to rule…take over my life.
If I depart from his presence this means I have chosen to dismiss a love that conquers and overcomes all things. It means I have chosen a life where fear, hopelessness, unforgiveness, shame, condemnation, confusion and unhappiness shall continuously abide.
When I am in need or when I need an ear to hear, He is always there willing to listen.
I never have to worry about the hour of the day, taking into consideration that it is late at night or too early in the morning. He is available anytime, waiting on me to call out to him as he already knows what is on my mind before I call. He already has the answers before I ask. It’s just up to me to open my mouth and my heart. It is up to me to pour out so He may pour in, refilling me with a refreshing of His Spirit, His wisdom, His truth, His Love, His Peace.
I am not afraid to call out to Him, for this is what he desires of me. He wants nothing more than to spend time with me and for me to spend time with Him. He desires for me to have answers and not wander through life confused and directionless. As he created me with a purpose in mind, He desires for me to come to know and understand His will for my life thus what better way to obtain such information than to spend time in His presence?
Of course, as I spend time with my Father, and He spends time providing guidance and directions for my life there is a level of accountability to be expected. This is not meant to make me fearful of Him or fearful of spending time in His presence, but as a reminder of His love for me.
Learning to follow what He tells me is beneficial for my life. In fact, it is crucial, for he knows the challenges and dangers that lie ahead. His guidance and instructions will save me from snares and pitfalls. He sees what I cannot, he knows what I do not, and He is doing and providing everything for a successful outcome. Along the way and in the end, I simply remember that He receives the glory and the praise.
I celebrate Him with all my heart, mind, and strength putting no one or nothing before him. I was not created merely to receive fame and fortune and stand in the spotlight obtaining the praises of the people. Rather, it is He who inhabits the praises of His people.
I do not seek man to celebrate me. Instead, I focus on spending time with God and celebrating Him for all that He has done and continues to do in my life.
God desires personal relationships with His people. Too often we rely upon others to “stand in the gap” for us. We expect others to petition God for what we need or desire. While there is nothing wrong with having support and partners (in prayer), there is much to be said about the willingness to lay or stand in before God yourself.
God wants to hear from you, to listen to you and He desires a greater relationship with you. He desires to hear from you, to listen to you, and He desires a greater relationship with you. He desires to hear from you and for you to hear Him, to get to know Him and the ability to distinguish His voice for yourself.
He wants to hear from you…have you spoken to Him today? Have you spent time in His presence?
